Carb GCB (graphitized carbon black) is composed of nonporous and lamellar molecules. It has a positive six membered ring structure with aromaticity and has a double retention mechanism of reverse phase and ion exchange. It can retain both nonpolar compounds (such as organochlorine insecticides) and strong polar compounds (such as surfactants).
Carb GCB is a flaky material with no pores, so the extraction speed is very fast, and the adsorption capacity is larger than silica gel.

Carb GCB / NH2, double-layer SPE concentrate the advantages of GCB and NH2, can remove the interference components such as pigment, sterol and fatty acid in food, and is suitable for sample purification of pesticide multi residue detection.

Sample purification of carb GCB / PSA graphitized carbon black / diamine-n-propyl for pesticide multi residue detection
Carb GCB / PSA has similar retention capacity as carb-gcb / NH2, and is suitable for the purification of samples for pesticide multi residue detection. PSA has one more secondary amino group than NH2, so its ion exchange capacity is larger. PSA can be used as a complex ligand for some metal ions, providing selectivity different from carb GCB / NH2.
