1. The column types are different
The column of non-polar stationary liquid of gas chromatography column includes hydrocarbons and siloxanes; the column of polar stationary liquid of gas chromatography column is mainly polyethylene glycol.
2. The separation order was different
The separation sequence of non-polar column of gas chromatography is mainly based on the boiling point of test solution, while the separation sequence of polar column of gas chromatography column is related to the polarity of substance besides boiling point.
3. The column temperature is different
The use temperature of polar column of gas chromatography column is lower than that of non-polar column of gas chromatography column, which makes the non-polar column of gas chromatography column more suitable for the analysis of substances with high boiling point.
